Club A.G.M;

The annual General Meeting of Strabane Sigersons will take place in the Clubrooms on Tuesday 5th December, 2017 starting at 7.30pm.

 

All members and supporters are welcome, nomination papers are available behind the bar or email; [email protected]

 

Please return signed papers no later than Monday 27th November.

 

Senior Awards Night;

The clubs Senior Awards night will take place in the club on Saturday night (25th) followed by the 400 Club Grand Draw, the event will start at 9pm with music provided afterwards by local singer and club player Jamie Donnelly. We would ask all Adult men, Senior ladies and all club members to support this event.

 

Youth Presentation Night;

Sigersons Youth Presentation night will take place on Tuesday 28th November in the Fir Trees Hotel beginning at 7.30pm, on the night each age group from under 14 to under 18 boys and girls will have three different awards. We would ask all club players, members and parents to support the event.

 

Social Club;

Once again this Christmas the social club will host a different Pool Competition every Sunday in the run up to Christmas with the prize for the winner being a free Christmas Turkey, the first competition will begin on Sunday 26th November. The entry fee is £2 per person.

 

400 Club Grand Draw;

The grand draw of this year's 400 Club draw will take place on Saturday 25th November in the clubhouse on the same night as the Senior Awards night. The prizes are as follows;

 

1 x £5000

4 x £1000

15 x £100

 

Your ticket must be fully paid to enter the draw.

 

Please contact your seller to pay off any outstanding ticket balance and can all sellers please get in contact with their banker or Treasurer Frances Jack with an update of their tickets.

 

Frances will be in the club on Thursday night (24th) from 7.30 to 8.30 to take any money from any sellers.

 

Youth;

Good Luck to Sigersons youth players Anna Mortimore, Ellie Jay McMenamin and Aoife O'Kane who are currently taking part in Tyrone Minor trials every Saturday morning.

Well done on getting to this stage and Good Luck in the coming weeks, Keep up the hard work!

 

On Saturday past Sigersons coaches Jason Foley, Aoife Foley, Arán McGowan, Dean Molloy Tina Molloy and Ciarán Friel were in attendance at the Ulster GAA's annual coaching conference in Jackson's Hotel.

 

Health & Wellbeing;

On Thursday night past Sigersons members Liam Sweeney, Aodhán Harkin, Eunan Harkin, John Etherson and Ciarán McLaughlin were present at the Tyrone GAA Health and Wellbeing conference in Garvaghey.

 

Sympathies;

The club extends its deepest sympathies to the friends and family of Johnny Corry, Clady, Raymond Maguire, Newtownstewart, Lorraine Stewart, Sigersons Place, Mary Elliott, Dunamanagh and Annie Mitchell, Tattyreagh who is the grandmother of club player Shane Rouse.
