Coaching Course;

The Club is running a Ladies Fundamentals coaching course through the LGFA on Saturday November 18th.

This is a quality course teaching coaches how to coach the basic skills of Ladies Gaelic Football. All current coaches, parents and players aged 16 or over with aspirations to coach Ladies Football are encouraged to complete this course. This is a good opportunity for everyone as it is essential for the club that all Ladies coaches have completed the Fundamentals course. Please remember the men's GAA Foundation course does not cover you to coach Ladies teams, the course is from 10am - 4pm.

Contact the Facebook page if you would like to register for this course.

Health & Wellbeing;

Anti-Bullying Week is a great opportunity to reinforce the messages about how schools and other organisations such as the GAA approach bullying including ensuring each child knows what to do if being bullied, how to deal with anyone who bullies and encouraging children to talk openly about the subject of bullying, whether it happens in school or out of school.

This year's theme is "All Different, All Equal, All Together"

To coincide with National Anti-Bullying Week, (13th to 17th November 2017), Strabane Sigersons Health and Wellbeing Committee are again running their poster competition in the local primary schools. Last year's competition was a great success with over 400 entries.

Children are asked to create a poster/picture explaining what bullying means to them and to bring the picture into school. There are 2 categories for each school - best boy and best girl. The prize will be an official O'Neills Junior Sigersons GAA Jersey for each winner.

Closing date for entries is Friday 17th November 2017 and winners will be notified by 24th November.

Ulster GAA's Five steps to Wellbeing; The programme aims to inform people about everyday things we can do in order to look after, and improve, our mental wellbeing.
