From the county that brought you the legendary "All I can say is we were well and truly Rhode" tweet following Gusserane's heavy Leinster club SFC defeat to the Offaly champions two years ago came another GAA tweet for the ages last night.
During the Ferns v St Anne's U20 Division 3 final, the words "Another goal chance for us but it ends with Jason Maguire shooting wife" appeared on the Ferns GAA Twitter account.
Thankfully, it was just a typo, something the Ferns Twitter account operator was quick to clarify in a great comeback. For the record, Ferns went on to win on a 2-7 to 1-5 scoreline and there were no reports of any casualties!

I mean shooting wide. Don't think Jason is married. And she'd hardly deserve that sort of treatment anyway. https://t.co/33WhtZIfef
