Two-time All-Ireland winner Michael Duignan is set to contest the position of Offaly county board chairman.
The RTE pundit will be going head-to-head with against long-serving incumbent Tommy Byrne for the post at the Faithful County’s convention next month.
Duignan is part of a group which met this past September mooted changes in the Offaly GAA administration, with former All-Ireland final Brian Gavin now nominated for Leinster Council and Colm Cummins set to challenge Niall Gleeson and James Murphy for the role of vice-chairman of the board.
