Brendan Cummins has led the congratulations to former Tipperary hurler Seamus Hennessy after he completed the Antarctic Ice Marathon and raised €200,000 for Pieta House in the process.

The 2010 All-Ireland winner, whose inter-county career was ended by an knee injury, completed the gruelling marathon in 7.05.33 on Union Glacier at the bottom of the world in honour of his mother Josie, who took her own life when he was just 10 years old.
