The Roscommon County Board have announced that Ciaran Comerford will remain on as senior hurling team manager for 2019.

Comerford’s first year ended in disappointment as they failed to even challenge for promotion in the league, but they did manage to preserve their Christy Ring Cup status.

A relegation play off win over a fancied Mayo side meant that Roscommon ended the year on a high and have positives going forward.

The former Laois hurler has yet to confirm his backroom team, but Gary Murphy will be the strength and conditioning coach.
