Clare forward Ian Galvin has stressed that there is no time to dwell on their Munster SHC final loss as they prepare for an All-Ireland quarterfinal next week.

The Banner fell short in their bid to take the provincial crown and gain some degree of revenge for their loss to the Rebels in last year's final.

A strong finish by Cork saw them retain their crown and go straight to the All-Ireland semifinal, while Clare must regroup and focus on their next challenge.

Galvin told the Clare Champion that they had to pick themselves up quickly and turn their attention to next week's clash.

"We are bitterly disappointed. We have trained so hard. We have come a long way and we are building again," stated Galvin.

"We have a quarterfinal in two weeks. We have to forget about that now and concentrate on the next match. There is no time for feeling sorry, we must concentrate on the next match straight away, no time for feeling sorry in this championship."
