Donegal finished with seven points to spare over Warwickshire to get their hands on the Nicky Rackard Cup at Croke Park today.

A strong second-half showing from the Tir Chonaill men was significant as they registered a 2-19 to 0-18 victory.

Mickey McCann's charges overturned an 0-8 to 0-12 half-time deficit in the process of securing a deserved second outright success in the competition.

Goals from Gavin Browne and Declan Coulter were vital ingredients in their winning formula.

Browne's 47th minute green flag gave Donegal the lead for the first time and Coulter added their second seven minutes later.

The Exiles were dealt a blow when Shane Caulfield was sent off in the second-half and numerical disadvantage left them with a mountain to climb.
