Kildare hurling manager Joe Quaid

Kildare hurling manager Joe Quaid has shook things up for tomorrow's Division 2A meeting with Carlow at Newatch Cullen Park (throw-in 2pm).

The Lilywhites have no points from their opening three games and are in a bad need of a win against the Barrowsiders.

Quaid has brought in Éire Óg Corrachoill's Paul Dermody to start in goal while Cian Forde and Mark Grace come into defence from the heavy defeat to Kerry last time out.

Naas pair Simon Lacey and Brian Byrne (captain) make up a new-look midfield for the Leinster derby in Carlow.

Kildare (HL2A v Carlow): Paul Dermody; Cian Forde, John Doran, Paul Sullivan; Mark Grace, Mark Moloney, Niall Ó Muineacháin; Simon Lacey, Brian Byrne; Eanna O'Neill, Martin Fitzgerald, Kevin Whelan; Chris Bonus, Mark Delaney, Shane Ryan

Subs: Paddy McKenna, Dylan Brereton, Cathal Dowling, Jack Sheridan, Diarmuid Cahill, Eoin O'Hehir, Tadgh Forde, Sean Gainey, Shane Walsh, Barry Cormack, Francis O'Reilly
