Kerry manager Fintan O'Connor acknowledges that there is no room for error in their remaining NHL 2A fixtures.

The defeat to Carlow in Round 2 has left the Kingdom in the last chance saloon regards their hopes of promotion, but they kept on track with a good win over Kildare last weekend.

This Sunday, they take on a Meath side that are also still very much in the hunt for promotion and O'Connor told the Kerryman that they have to show consistency in their remaining games as they have table toppers Westmeath in the last round.

"We want to be doing it consistently too and we don't want to have one week where we're bad and one week where we're not happy with ourselves and then the next week we are. We just have to get it consistent," said O'Connor.

"The lads tried hard against Kildare and they really put great pressure on the ball and the turnovers were probably up ten-fold to what they were against Carlow two weeks ago."
