Kildare manager Colin Ward has named his side for Tuesday evening’s Leinster minor football championship opener against Wicklow in Newbridge.

Beaten finalists last year, the Lilywhites will look to get their provincial campaign for 2019 off to a good start on home turf against the Garden County and Ward has named Kevin Eustace (St Laurence’s) and Shane Flynn of Balyna to start at centre-field.

Celbridge’s Johnny Owens plays on ‘the 40’ while Aylmer Gaels’ sharpshooter Eoin Bagnal leads the attack from full-forward.

Throw-in at St Conleth’s Park is at 7pm.
