Kerry and Munster football kingpins Dr Crokes will be in action for the second time in three days this afternoon.

A backlog of fixtures means the Killarney club will play Rathmore in the East Kerry SFC (O’Donoghue Cup) semi-final in Fitzgerald Stadium at 2pm, less than 48 hours after they defeated Gneeveguilla in the quarter-final by 3-10 to 2-5.

It will be Dr Crokes’ fourth game in 13 days with the prospect of a final to come before they can start focusing on their All-Ireland club SFC semi-final against surprise Leinster champions Mullinalaghta on February 16.
