A moment's applause was held in the 48th minute of today's Leinster SFC final for the 48 victims of the Stardust fire 37 years ago.

The families of those who died in the tragedy were in Croke Park for the Dublin-Laois clash and have launched a campaign called Truth to find answers to a number of unanswered questions.

The Stardust fire was a fatal fire which took place at the Stardust nightclub in Artane in the early hours of February 14 (St. Valentine's Day) 1981. Some 841 people had attended a disco there, of whom 48 died and 214 were injured as a result of the fire.
