Former Tipperary hurler Colm Bonnar is plotting for his Ballyhale Shamrocks side to regain their Kilkenny SHC title on Sunday week.

Bonnar was brought in to revitalise the Shamrocks this year and he has them just 60 minutes away from lifting the title again.

Last Sunday, they defeated defending champions Clara and now they will face an experienced O'Loughlin Gaels side in the final.

The Tipp All-Ireland winner was not getting carried away by that result when talking to the Kilkenny People.

"We're only one step further along," said Bonnar. "Nothing is won at this stage. We have to gear up again and look at O'Loughlin's. We know that's going to be a tough battle."

Ballyhale have been decimated with injuries this year including the influential Michael Fennelly who is out for the rest of the year.
