Tipperary All-Ireland winner Seamus Callanan will return to action for his club this weekend.

Following his exploits at inter-county level this year that look certain to earn him the Hurler of the Year award, Callanan took a well-deserved holiday.

However, the batteries are recharged and the Drom Inch clubman will line out against Loughmore-Castleiney in the county SHC preliminary quarterfinal.

Callanan will come up against the McGrath brothers Noel and John who themselves have had a busy time since the All-Ireland final win over Kilkenny as they defeated Drom Inch in the Mid-Tipperary final two weeks ago, before adding the Mid-Tipp SFC title last weekend.

Extra time was needed to separate the sides in the hurling final, but Drom Inch were without the irrepressible Callanan and his presence is sure to lift the profile of this clash.
