SHC semis take centre stage

October 08, 2015

The 2015 Tipperary SHC semi-finals take pride of place in the Premier County this weekend.

A mouth-watering double-header goes down for decision at Semple Stadium on Sunday, with champions Thurles Sarsfields up against Kilruane MacDonagh and Drom-Inch facing Nenagh Eire Og.

All four of these teams will feel that they have every chance of landing the Dan Breen Cup. Kilruane are possibly the dark horses of the quartet but they have a balanced side that has impressed thus far. If they get past the holders in the opener, they will advance to their first final in 21 years.

Meanwhile, Nenagh Eire Og are endeavouring to capture the title for the first time since 1995.

The stage is set for two pulsating contests and new Tipp boss Michael Ryan will undoubtedly be served plenty to feast his eyes upon.
