Tipperary dual star Eddie Connolly will be laid to rest this morning.
Eddie's remains will arrive at Loughmore Church for Funeral Mass at 11am, with burial taking place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
The 29-year-old died peacefully at home on Thursday night after losing a two-year battle with brain cancer. A fundraiser at Thurles Greyhound Stadium for the Eddie Connolly Trust Fund went ahead on Friday night.
The former Tipp hurler and footballer is survived by his heartbroken parents Jim and Maureen, brothers James and Gerard, sisters Niamh and Fiona, and extended family.
