John 'Bubbles' O'Dwyer put the disappointment of Tipperary's All-Ireland SHC semi-final defeat to Galway behind him by inspiring Killenaule to a South Tipperary SHC title yesterday.
The Tipp sharpshooter posted 0-9 (0-7 from play) as Killenaule edged out Mullinahone on a 0-21 to 2-13 scoreline at Fethard. Eoin Kelly came off the bench for Mullinahone before half-time, but failed to get on the scoresheet. Sean Curran accounted for 1-7 of the losers' tally.
On a busy day of divisional final action, a Paul Flynn goal proved decisive as Kildangan claimed their second North Tipperary SHC crown in three seasons thanks to a 1-18 to 0-18 victory over first-time finalists Templederry Kenyons in Nenagh.
County champions Thurles Sarsfields held on for a 1-17 to 2-13 win over Loughmore-Castleiney in the Mid Tipp SHC final at Drombane, while Kevin Fox's injury-time point handed Eire Og Annacarty a 0-16 to 2-9 victory over Knockavilla-Donaskeigh Kickhams in the West Tipp SHC decider at Cashel.
