The Opel GAA/GPA June Player of the Month shortlists in football and hurling have been announced.

The football nominees are Donegal's Michael Murphy, Sligo's Adrian Marren and Westmeath's Kieran Martin, all of whom were pivotal in helping their sides reach thier respective provincial finals.

The hurling award will go to either Tadhg de Búrca (Waterford), John O'Dwyer (Tipperary) or Ger Aylward (Kilkenny) - who are also looking forward to playing in senior provincial showdowns in July!

The winners of the GAA/GPA Opel Player of the Month Award for June will be chosen by the intercounty playing body and will be announced at a presentation in Airside Opel in Swords on Wednesday, July 8th.
