Manager Liam Cahill says his Tipperary minor hurlers are ready for tonight's Munster semi-final clash with Clare.

The match throws in at 7:30 in Thurles and the Premier County are out to avenge their heavy defeat to the same opposition last year.

"We know that Clare won't be simple," Cahill says in The Tipperary Star. "They beat us in Ennis last year and a lot of the players and the management still have the scars from that game.

"We will be going all out to make things right again and we have a lot of homework done since then.

"We knew we had a lot of work to do after the Waterford game and it fairness we have made a lot of progress. Michael Bevans has been working very hard with the lads and we are finding now that the fast ball is beginning to bring different players to the fore.

"There is a big difference between June hurling and April hurling and the changes in the team reflect this. We have a lot of work done and we are in good shape for the visit of Clare."
