Tipperary manager Eamon O'Shea is 'quietly confident' that it will be a case of third time lucky for the Premier against Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds tomorrow.

Last year's defeated All-Ireland finalists have finished up on the wrong end of the scoreline in their last two Munster semi-final meetings with the Shannonsiders in 2013 and 2014.

"We are very quietly confident that we can go down there and do the business on Sunday," O'Shea said.

"We had a very good league and while it didn't end as we would have wished or wanted, at the same time we did show some strength during the campaign, post Dublin.

"With the Galway and Clare games and then the Kilkenny game too I felt we have something to build on now and there is a lot of consistency beginning to come into the side in terms of commitment to the cause and the level of aggression we need to be showing."

O'Shea has included eleven of the team that started last year's All-Ireland final replay defeat. John 'Bubbles' O'Dwyer has overcome an ankle injury and will line out at right corner-forward.

Limerick manager TJ Ryan, meanwhile, has made one chance to the side that overcame Clare by one point in their quarter-final.

David Breen comes in to replace Paul Browne in the half-forward line.

Cian Lynch's emergence as a force to be reckoned with on the inter-county stage was one of the highlights of their 1-19 to 2-15 success over the Banner County and O'Shea and his selectors will have to come up with a plan to curb the 19-year-old's influence.

Limerick coach Paul Beary believes they have to score goals to have any chance of maintaining their recent dominance over their neighbours.

"That's something we have discussed and something we had discussed going into the Clare game," he said during the week. "When you look at Tipperary they are attack-minded and have the players well capable and always seeking to score goals.

"There is a great appreciation among ourselves, players and management, that we need to start scoring more goals if we are to go further."

Waterford await the winners in the Munster final on July 12th.
