Tipp star to undergo surgery for testicular cancer

Tipperary GAA has revealed that 2010 All-Ireland winner Noel McGrath (24) will undergo surgery for testicular cancer this Friday.
In a press release this morning, the Premier County sent the two-time All-Star its best wishes in his battle against the disease and it is a sentiment that will be echoed throughout the GAA community.
'Noel McGrath will undergo surgery for testicular cancer on Friday 17th April," the statement reads.
'The Tipperary senior hurling squad, senior hurling management, Tipperary County Board and all Tipperary supporters wish Noel well during this time and look forward to welcoming him back in the Tipperary colours in due course.
'We ask everyone to respect the privacy of Noel and his family at this time and in the coming weeks.'
