Thurles CBS overcame the concession of an early goal to get the better of St Peter's of Wexford in an entertaining All-Ireland GAA Post Primary Schools Senior Hurling semi-final at Waterford IT today.

The Wexford lads, managed by Rory Jacob, raced into a 1-2 to 0-1 after 10 minutes thanks to Rory O'Connor's goal but Niall Cahill's charges refused to panic and reeled off three unanswered points to go in level at the break - 0-12 to 1-9,

The Harty Cup winners subsequently outscored their opponents by six points to three in the second half to book their place in the Croke Cup decider.
