Fermanagh and Armagh remain on course for promotion from Division 3 following their latest victories this afternoon.

Fermanagh defeated Limerick 2-19 to 2-10 at Brewster Park to maintain their unbeaten record. They are joined on nine points by Armagh who had to work hard for a 3-11 to 1-11 victory over Clare in Ennis.

Goals from Ethan Rafferty and Tony Kernan had given Kieran McGeeney's side a comfortable 2-8 to 0-4 half-time lead, but the Banner hit an unanswered 1-5 after the restart to make a real fight of it before Kernan's second goal late on finally settled it.

Tipperary come next on the table with six points after they accounted for Louth by 4-16 to 3-11 in Drogheda. Sligo made it two wins in seven days when trumping Wexford by 2-10 to 1-8 at Markievicz Park. The result leaves Wexford propping up the table with Limerick on two points each.
