A backlog of fixtures means Tipperary will not be represented in the Munster club SFC later this year.

Tipp FM is reporting that the county SFC will not be finished before the Munster quarter-final against the Kerry representatives (Dingle, Austin Stacks, Dr Crokes or Legion) on the weekend of November 8/9, and that the game has already been scratched from the Munster Council's fixture schedule.

The backlog of games in the Premier County has been caused by the extended championship runs enjoyed by both the Tipperary senior hurling and football teams this year. The Tipperary county board remains hopeful of having the county SHC completed in time for the Munster semi-final against either Cratloe (Clare) or Ballygunner (Waterford) on November 9.
