Cork close gap on Cats in betting stakes

Cork's odds on lifting the Liam MacCarthy Cup have been cut to 9/4 following their first Munster SHC triumph in eight years.

Jimmy Barry-Murphy's charges are second favourites to Kilkenny, who are priced at 11/8 in Boylesports' outright betting.

An improving Tipperary are third favourites at 10/3, with beaten Munster finalists Limerick coming next at 16/1. Dublin's odds have drifted out to 20/1 after their disappointing Leinster final display, Wexford's have shortened from 66/1 to 28/1 following their defeat of All-Ireland champions Clare, while outsiders Waterford are available at 33/1.
