Tipp have to look at club structures - Power

U21 football manager David Power says Tipperary need to do something about their club structures.

After seeing his side outmuscled by Cork in last week's Munster U21 FC final at Pairc Ui Rinn, the 2011 All-Ireland MFC winning boss conceded that the Premier County are fighting an uphill battle:

"Cork are a good team but what's killing us is playing down in Division Four and the club structures as well," he says in The Tipperary Star. "Cork are playing at a higher level the whole time.

"The next step is to get back on the training field and work harder and harder. We have to work so, so hard because they are coming in from really poor club structures in Tipperary.

"We only have a couple of good senior football teams and that's hard. That's not criticising anyone; that's just what's there in Tipperary at the minute.

"Until we improve the club structures, it will be very hard to compete against Cork. If Tipp are to make the next step, we have to look at those structures."
