TIPPERARY INTERMEDIATE TEAM
Tipperary recorded their fourth win of the Tesco Homegrown National Football League in the home club of Tipperary captain Barbara Ryan, Moyle Rovers GAA Club.
From the throw in both teams were intent on the victory but Tipperary's Lorraine O'Shea was first to score a point. Longford's Aisling Reynolds quickly followed with a point of her own in the second minute. In the fifth and seventh minute Lorraine O'Shea got two more points to put Tipperary in the lead, the lead they held for the rest of the game. Gillian O'Brien, Tipperary added to this in the tenth minute before Longford's Claire Greene reduced the margin to two by scoring a point. For the next nine minutes the ball flowed from end to end until in the nineteenth minute Longford's Aisling Reynolds scored the first point of the second quarter. Then Tipperary hit a purple patch and the next four points were theirs. Longford's Gemma Kenny got the last point of the half in twenty eighth minute reducing the deficit to four points. From the throw in of the second half Gillian O'Brien, Tipperary scored the first point. In the thirty fourth & fifth minute Mairead Morrissey and Gillian O'Brien added another point each. Tipperary looked to be in control leading by seven points but Longford had other ideas and got back in to the game with a Claire Greene goal followed by a point to leave just three points between the teams heading in the last quarter. Tipperary's Alison Lonergan steadied the game again with the next point of the game in the forty sixth minute. Claire Mullins, Tipperary pointed the ball in the forty ninth minute just before Claire Carroll scored her first point of the second half. The last score for Tipperary was by Claire Mullins extending the lead again to seven points. Longford never gave up fighting and were rewarded in the final five minutes of the game with two more points from Aisling Reynolds. Tipperary 0-15 Longford 1-7
Tipperary are currently third on the League Table with Leitrim holding the fourth position. The match next week away to Leitrim will determine whether they hold their positions and who they will meet in the Semi Finals. TIPPERARY U16 TEAM
Tipperary Ladies Under 16 Team will start their Munster Championship next weekend. They will play Limerick in Round 1 in Lattin Cullen GAA on Sunday April 6th at 2.00pm. We wish them all the best.

TIPPERARY U14 TEAM
A floodlit Fraher Field, Dungarvan was the venue for the Round 3 Munster Under 14 B Football Championship match on Wednesday last between Tipperary and Waterford. It was a game where the result would not change the Munster Championship Final permutations so Tipperary used the opportunity to give all players the experience of Inter County Football.
From the throw in Waterford had their scoring boots on and recorded three goals and a point in the first quarter. This unsteadied the Tipperary team and it would be the second quarter before they got to grips with the game. Once settled Tipperary scored a goal and a point while Waterford added a further goal and two points to their score line to leave the half-time score - Waterford 4-3 Tipperary 1-4.
Tipperary were first on the field for the second half and put in a much better performance. However they lacked the scoring ability despite having a number of chances and only managed three points in this half. Waterford on the other hand found it tougher to breakdown Tipperary and only recorded five points. Waterford 4-8 Tipperary 1-4

TESCO HOMEGROWN PPS SEMI FINAL
Congratulations to Colaiste dun Iascaigh, Cahir who defeated Glenamaddy Community School in the Tesco Homegrown All Ireland Post Primary Schools (PPS) Junior A Semi Final in Birr on Saturday last on a score line of 8-9 to 3-02.

Congratulations to Scoil Mhuire Carrick on Suir who were victorious over Presentation College, Tuam in the Tesco Homegrown All Ireland PPS Junior C Semi Final on Saturday last in St. Brendan's Park, Birr - Scoil Mhuire Carrick on Suir 1-12 Presentation College, Tuam 2-2.

Commiserations to Loretto, Clonmel who lost to Ballinamore Secondary School, Leitrim in the Tesco Homegrown All Ireland PPS Junior B Semi Final on Wednesday last.

Congratulations to Scoil na Trinóide Naofa, Doon who were victorious over Colaiste Muire Ennis in the Munster Post Primary Junior C Plate Final on Wednesday last. Commiserations to St. Anne's Tipperary who suffered a defeat by Carrigaline CC in Glanworth last week. These finals were the last of Tipperary's involvement in Munster Post Primary Schools Finals with Tipperary players involved in nine of the winning Schools
