John Kiely declared himself happy with his Limerick team’s performance in last night’s Munster SHL win over Tipperary.
The Shannonsiders scored a 2-22 to 1-17 victory over the Premier County at the LIT Gaelic Grounds, and speaking to Sporting Limerick after the final whistle, the winning manager remarked: “What are you looking for first night out?
“Good attitude, good application, showed a bit of spirit when it was needed and all told, yeah I would be happy with the performance.
“It was good to get guys back on the field but it’s just Day 1, a long road to be travelled.”
