Tipperary manager Liam Sheedy admits that they are behind the rest of the counties in terms of preparation for the 2020 campaign.

Tipp lost out to Clare in the Munster SHL last weekend and now they take on Limerick in the next round tonight.

Sheedy told the Tipperary Star that the real work begins now as they look to focus on defending their All-Ireland title.

“We are probably slightly behind the curve at this stage because we are only back in the last two weeks doing really strong work,” said Sheedy.

“They are working hard and are committed. I like the way we have applied ourselves and we will have a few busy weeks.”
