JK Brackens and Clonmel Commercials will contest the Tipperary SFC final in two weeks' time.

In yesterday's semi-finals, JK Brackens dethroned Moyle Rovers with a 2-11 to 1-13 victory at Leahy Park, Cashel, while Commercials defeated Loughmore-Castleiney in Boherlahan by 1-17 to 1-15 after extra-time.

Templemore club Brackens are through to their first-ever SFC final after goals from Dean McEnroe and Shane Scully inside the opening eight minutes paved the way for their surprise win over the champions. Liam Boland replied with a goal from a penalty which left Rovers trailing by 1-5 to 2-7 at the interval. The Monroe club twice reduced the deficit to the minimum in the second half, but Brackens weren't to be denied.

In the other semi-final, former All-Star Michael Quinlivan was sent off on a second yellow card in the second half, but Clonmel Commercials still prevailed after extra-time.

Loughmore also lost John Ryan to a red card as the sides finished level at 1-12 apiece at the end of normal time with Jason Lonergan netting for the town side and Cian Hennessy doing likewise for Loughmore in the closing stages.

The sides remained deadlocked until late points by Seamus Kennedy and Lonergan secured Clonmel's place in the decider.
