Friday is All-Stars night

The Convention Centre in Dublin will host the 2019 PwC All-Star awards on Friday night.
The social highlight of the GAA year will take place on Friday night when the 2019 PwC All-Stars will be honoured at a gala black tie banquet in Dublin's Convention Centre.
The event, which will be shown live on RTÉ TV, will also honour the GAA/GPA Players and Young Players of the Year in hurling and football. The Dublin trio of Stephen Cluxton, Jack McCaffrey and Con O'Callaghan are up for the Footballer of the Year award, while Tipperary All-Ireland winning captain Séamus Callanan, Cork’s Patrick Horgan and TJ Reid of Kilkenny are shortlisted for the hurling award.
With 13 nominations, five-in-a-row All-Ireland football champions Dublin are expected to dominate the All-Stars football selection, while All-Ireland hurling winners Tipperary have 11 names on the shortlist of 45 players for the hurling All-Stars.
