Former Tipperary and Meath hurler Eoin Brislane has been hit with a 16-week ban arising from an incident which took place at the U15 Arrabawn hurling tournament last month.
Brislane was found guilty by the Central Hearings Committee (CHC) of using abusive language towards a referee and minor physical interference with a referee during a game between Tipperary and Wexford in Littleton on August 31.
He has the option of appealing the CHC’s decision to the Central Appeals Committee (CAC).
