A member of the senior and U20 squads, Tipperary hurler Jake Morris has two huge games on his plate this week.

Morris is one of the star men on the Tipp side that hosts Cork in tonight’s Munster U20 hurling championship final at Thurles while he’s also part of the Premier County senior panel that’ll lock horns with Wexford in Sunday’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final at Croke Park:

“The two managers, Liam Cahill and Liam Sheedy, have a good grip on it, their communication is good, they don’t expect us to be in too many places,” he told The Irish Sun.

“We’re not over-trained, we’re kept fresh. It’s down to management really. This year, with strength and conditioning and the training we’re doing, I suppose you’d be more ready for it. Last year it was all very fresh to me. I enjoyed it and I’m enjoying this year even more”
