Seamus Callanan became Tipperary's all-time record goalscorer in the championship when he found the net against Clare in Ennis this afternoon.

Like all good forwards, he reacted quickest after Jason Forde's free came back off the upright in the 40th minute to fire home as Tipp ran out surprisingly comfortable 3-21 to 0-17 winners.

Callanan has now scored 30 goals in 50 championship appearances, surpassing the record previously held by Lar Corbett.
