Does he play full back??I know he played in the Calry St Joesphs half back line as well as the half forward line.I think he scored a couple of points in the championship. He's a bit of a diamond in the rough from what i've heard.

Thats right! The boy was outstanding at underage level for cloyne lining out at fullback for the U16s before he was ravaged by injuries. He was known as the pebble because his apperance and his outstanding displays on the edge of the square which reminded many onlookers of a young Diarmuid THE ROCK OSuillivan his fellow clubman.

thats right.. he was ment to be an outstanding fullback at U16 level before he was ravaged by injuries... they used to call him the pebble... I think it was due to his appearance and his ball winning abilities around the square which wer similar to his fellow clubman Diarmuid THE ROCK OSuillivan..

I'd agree he has the natural hurling ability and a great heart but i think he might be a bit too light for the current inter-county game. The game these days is not just about hurling ability anymore, you need to have more physical strength compared to years gone by. Maybe a well structured gym programme in the off season is the way to go for young, up and coming hurlers like that kingston boy.

Id fancy monaghan to win it myself. i was expecting an ulster team to get to the NR final last year, given they had a couple of extra games in the ulster championship to prepare for it, and monagahan seemed most likely to get there, only to come undone in the semi.

Tommy I wouldn't beleive that unless you heard it from a county board official. Some of them may indeed but I doubt all of them will be. I'd say the Leitrim game will definetly be in Sligo and possibly the Waterford game. It's an awful pitty Tourlestrane is so out of the way for most people!!!

Just heard a rumour today that Sligo County Board have switched all of their NFL games to Tourlestrane this year.?? After last Sat night I suppose its hard to argue with that decision but where does that leave Markievicz Park now ? Doubt if the developers would be interested now.
