Drumcliffe/Rosses club notes

February 13, 2017

Well done to our Captain Fantastic Neil Ewing who led the Sligo senior footballers to a dramatic one-point league win over Tipperary in Thurles last Sunday.

Several of our girls Under 13 & Under 14 footballers were involved with Sligo county development squads who played challenge matches against Donegal at the weekend. Well done to all involved.

Club Registration for 2017 takes place this Saturday, Feb 18th in Oxfield from 10am to 1pm.

Work is beginning on developing a five-year club plan for Drumcliffe/Rosses Point GAA Club for the years 2018-2022. We are very keen to involve as many people as possible (players, parents, coaches, former club members) from right across our catchment area with DRP connections no matter how big or small their involvement with the club is. Two open meeting for interested members of the public are being organised next month - one in Rosses Point, and one in Drumcliffe. Dates and venues will be published next week.

The next monthly club meeting takes place on Monday, Feb 27th in Oxfield at 9pm.

DRP members who are interested in joining Club Sligo for 2017, or renewing their existing subscription are encouraged to do so before the end of February. If the club can reach its target by then, it stands to receive a complimentary new set of club jerseys from Club Sligo.

Drumcliffe Handball club coaching continues every Saturday morning in the Oxfield Centre starting at 10am
