Tyrone manager Mickey Harte and Donegal manager Rory Gallagher

Tyrone, Galway and Dublin are celebrating provincial glory this evening following an action-packed day of gaelic football.

An inspirational Peter Harte point broke Donegal's brave resistance in Clones and substitute Kieran McGeary tagged on an insurance point shortly after to give the Red Hands a 0-13 to 0-11 success.

Galway and Roscommon renewed acquaintances in the Connacht SFC final replay at MacHale Park and the Tribesmen enjoyed a surprisingly convincing 3-16 to 0-14 victory.

Goals from Danny Cummins (2) and Gary Sice were vital ingredients in their fully-deserved win.

In Leinster, Jim Gavin and Dublin emulated 'Heffo's Army' of 1974-'79 when claiming their sixth provincial title in-a-row.

Westmeath put up a brave fight in the first-half but ran out of steam after the resumption and it finished Dublin 2-19, Westmeath 0-10 at GAA headquarters.
