Sligo manager Niall Carew was delighted to get a home draw for their All-Ireland SFC qualifier round 2A match against Leitrim.

The Yeats County will host their Connacht neighbours on Saturday, July 2nd giving both counties plenty of time to prepare for the clash.

And the Sligo boss feels that Leitrim will be pleased with the draw also as both sides look to prolong their campaign for a while yet.

"Leitrim will be very happy, they will feel very confident. If they could have picked a team, they would probably have picked us," The Sligo Champion reports Carew as stating on RTE Radio One's Morning Ireland.

"Home advantage is massive for us. We didn't really mind who we got so long as we were at home so that is great. We feel if we can perform we can win so for us our whole focus is on Leitrim now for the next two weeks. We've aspirations of making the last eight, so this is a game we have to win."
