Drumcliffe/Rosses Point GAA Club Notes

Three of the club's footballers have been nominated for the 2015 Sligo Champion GAA Women's Club Allstar awards. Congrats to Orla McGowan, Rachel Monaghan and Amanda Healy on making the shortlist. The Club Allstars banquet takes place on Saturday, Dec 5th, in the Radisson Hotel.

With all club competitions completed for this year, the main pitch at Oxfield is now closed to all team activities for the winter season to enable the pitch committee carry out essential repair and maintenance work over the next couple of months.

The club's popular annual family table quiz will take place on Sunday, November 29th, in Rathcormac Hall at 4pm. This is a very enjoyable event for all the family.

Our AGM for 2015 will be held the following Sunday evening, December 6th, in the Old School Rathcormac at 7pm. This meeting is open to the entire club membership. All welcome.

Another date for your diary is the club's End of Year Social, which will take place on December 27th at 9.30pm in the Yeats Tavern, Drumcliffe. This is a separate event to the Our Annual Juvenile Awards which will be held in the New Year.

The girls minor footballers wish to thank Martina Mullaney of Mullaney's SuperValu in Grange for her generous sponsorship of the players hoodies for 2015. A photo of the presentation is available to view on our facebook page.

There was no no jackpot winner of the super monthly lotto draws for October and November. The jackpot now stands at €4,950 for December. The match 3 winner for November was David Collins (€100). There was no match 3 winner for October. 4 x €25 recipients: Jim Gallagher, Brian Murphy (Snr), Bridie Gaughan, Fergal Hickey.
