Corofin 4-14
St Mary's 2-6
Martin Farragher helped himself to a hat-trick of goals as holders Corofin comfortably overcame the challenge of St Mary's of Sligo at Markievcz Park.
It was all one way traffic once Micheal Lundy converted a third minute penalty for Stephen Rochford's charges who led by 2-3 to 0-0 at the end of the opening quarter.
An 18th minute Kyle Cawley goal gave the hosts a glimmer of hope but they turned around for the second-half faced with a 1-3 to 2-6 deficit.
Farragher's second and third goals arrived in the 48th and 55th minutes while Rory Guinan netted a late consolation goal for the Yeats County outfit.
The holders will expect a much sterner test when they take on Castlebar Mitchels in the decider.
