This weekend sees the return of the senior football championship.

Round three of the championship will be decided over the coming days and following these games, the picture in the groups should become a lot clearer.

Defending champions Tubbercurry need a win against Geevagh following their defeat to Coolaney/Mullinabreena in the last round.

Eastern Harps and Tourlestrane do battle in what is probably the 'game of the round', but the latter will be expected to come through this one.

Castleconnor are tipped to see off the challenge of St Mary's, while Kilglass/Enniscrone are favourites to see off Ballymote.

St Mary's, Sligo will be highly fancied against Molaise Gaels, despite the latter being at home.

St Farnan's will be pushing for the win against Cloonacool, as Shamrock Gaels should see off neighbours Coola.

In the last match of the round, Calry/St Joseph's and St John's will certainly be a close affair and maybe one that's just too close to call.
