Provincial winners Monaghan, Kerry and Mayo dominate our team of the week following a weekend of high drama...

1. Brian O'Donoghue (Galway)

Derry were unable to find a way past O'Donoghue in the Galway posts and the Tribesmen are now preparing to face Donegal.

2. Shane Enright (Kerry)

Tasked with the job of shadowing Brian Hurley, Enright held the Castlehaven man scoreless from play.

3. Vinny Corey (Monaghan)

Asked by Malachy O'Rourke to curb the influence of Donegal captain Michael Murphy, the experienced Corey didn't let his manager down.

4. Frank McGlynn (Donegal)

Donegal didn't relinquish the Anglo Celt Cup without a fight and McGlynn did his best to drive them forward at all times.

5. Gary O'Donnell (Galway)

Along with Gareth Bradshaw, O'Donnell was a standout performer in the Galway defence and he kicked an inspirational 51st minute point.

6. Brian O'Driscoll (Cork)

Many of Cork's players failed to scale the heights of the drawn game but O'Driscoll was an exception.

7. Karl O'Connell (Monaghan)

A contender for the man-of-the-match accolade, Donegal struggled to cope with the attacking half-back's pace and he registered a point.

8. David Moran (Kerry)

The giant midfielder underlined his importance to the Kingdom cause with a barnstorming display and he received admirable support from Anthony Maher.

9. Tom Parsons (Mayo)

Bigger challenges lie ahead but Noel Connelly and Pat Holmes will have been pleased with Parsons' input against the Yeats County.

10. Mattie Donnelly (Tyrone)

Operating around the midfield area, Donnelly kicked three top class points against Tipperary.

11. Peter Harte (Tyrone)

The number seven on Harte's back is irrelevant as he is given a licence to roam and, against the Premier County, he clipped over two first-half points.

12. Diarmuid O'Connor (Mayo)

The younger of the O'Connor siblings showed signs that he is ready to make an impact on the senior stage.

13. Paul Geaney (Kerry)

Justified his recall to the starting 15 when displaying commendable composure to finish the ball to the Cork net in the 49th minute.

14. Aidan O'Shea (Mayo)

A one-man demolition job, O'Shea tore the Sligo defence apart in Dr Hyde Park and clocked up 3-4.

15. Conor McManus (Monaghan)

The Monaghan captain escaped the close attentions of Neil McGee to provide the inspiration for his county's 16 provincial success.
