Enniscrone/Kilglass GAA notes

Intermediate
The intermediate team are currently preparing for the next round of the club championship, which is scheduled to get underway once again when Sligo exit the All-Ireland series. It will be August 8th at the earliest before action resumes, at which point Ballymote are the opposition.

Minor/U-16
The minor team also have a wait for their championship campaign to commence as the county team excel on the nationwide stage. However, the u-16 team will enter championship action on July 20th at home to Geevagh.

U-14
The u-14 team begin their championship on July 24th with an away fixture against St Molaise Gaels. Last weekend, seven squad members travelled with a west Sligo selection to take part in the John Egan memorial tournament. The team reached the semi-final before losing out to opposition from Louth. The Enniscrone/Kilglass players were Daniel Clarke, Daniel Devaney, Dara Rouse, Gavin Duffy, Adam Mullaney, Niall O'Hara and Alan Duffy. Well done to all.

U-12
The u-12 boys play Bunninadden in the cup semi-final on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Bunninadden Community Park. Best of luck to everyone involved.

Golf Classic
Our golf classic takes place this Friday at Enniscrone Golf Club, and a fantastic day is in store. Teams of four cost €120, with first prize four All-Ireland football final tickets along with accommodation at a top-class Dublin hotel. County scene
Best wishes to Mark O'Dowd and both the Sligo minor and senior footballers in their Connacht finals this Sunday at Dr Hyde Park. It promises to be a momentous day in the history of Sligo GAA and the club is delighted to have Mark represent us. Hopefully silverware will return west on Sunday evening.
