Enniscrone/Kilglass GAA notes

May 11, 2015

Intermediate
The intermediate team return to Division Two action with an away fixture against Geevagh this Friday evening at 8.15pm.

Minor
Unfortunately, a depleted minor team bowed out of the knockout stages of the Division Two league following a 5-13 to 2-9 defeat at the hands of Coolera/Strandhill in the shield semi-final last weekend. The lads now have a sizable break until the championship which takes place after the state exams in June.

U-16
The u-16 team take on St Michael's in the Division Three semi-final this Monday evening (May 11th) at 7pm in Quigabar.

U-14
Our u-14 team meet Curry in round two of the Division Two league this Friday evening at 7pm in Quigabar.

U-12
Due to adverse weather conditions, our u-12s game against St Michael's was postponed last Tuesday evening - it now takes place this Tuesday evening at 7pm in Quigabar.

Community Games
Congrats and well done to all participants in the recent community games that took place in Quigabar. Over 200 children from the local schools took part and everyone had an enjoyable day. Congrats to all and best wishes to the winners in the county finals.

Golf Classic
Our bi-annual golf classic is pencilled in for Friday, July 17th 2015 at Enniscrone Golf Club. The event is always an enjoyable one over one of Ireland's premier golf courses with excellent prizes on offer. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Good luck
Best wishes to Michéal and Breda Sheridan who are set to open up Sheridan's Pub in Kilglass, formerly known as Gaughan's, next Friday evening.

Blotto
The blotto draw continues every Saturday night, with the jackpot now up to €5,400. Get your ticket in any local shop or pub. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
