Our U-14 boys have recorded some excellent results in the past few weeks. The team travelled to Scarden recently for the County U-14 Féile Competition. After an exciting, well-fought game against St Johns, with a tight scoreline of 3-3 to 2-5, Tourlestrane came home victorious with the Division C Cup. Captain, Mark Fallon, received the cup on behalf of the team.

Our U12 girls recorded their second straight win in the league on a very cold night in Tourlestrane v Ballisodare. Following on from last weeks victorious opening day trip to Curry the girls continued from where they had left off.

The handling and support play on a wintry evening was fantastic to see from the start. Building from a great base of disciplined defending through the tireless running of the midfielders and the combination play of the accurate forwards the girls kept a tight grip on the game and built a match winning score in each quarter. The subs introduced put their own mark on the game in the final quarter keeping the pressure on a determined and disciplined Ballisodare team.
