Enniscrone/Kilglass GAA notes

May 05, 2015

Intermediate
The intermediate secured an important two points in Division Two of the Senior Football League with a 0-13 to 5-9 win over St Farnan's at Templeboy last Sunday. A good opening half left the lads in a comfortable lead and that was the foundation for the win. Next week's round of games have been postponed to a later date, so the team are out again when they travel to play Geevagh the following weekend.
Minor
The minor team were beaten by Castleconnor last Thursday in Corballa after a very disappointing display. The lads meet Ballymote tomorrow (Monday) and a win would see them through to the semi-final of the league. Good luck lads.
U-16
Training continues for the under-16 lads this week, in preparation for their league semi-final next Monday (May 11th) versus St Michael's.
U-14
Our under-14 boys fell to their first defeat of the year when they were beaten by Tourlestrane in a very competitive game last week, 4-12 to 5-5. A great second half display gave the lads a chance having been eight points down at the break but the hosts held on for the win. Nonetheless, the team is in a good position in the table and they will hope to get back on track versus Curry on May 15th.
U-12
Our under-12 lads take on St Michael's on Tuesday evening (May 5th) at 7pm in Quigabar.
Blotto
The blotto draw continues every Saturday night and the jackpot is now up to €5,200. Get your ticket in any local shop or pub. Your support is greatly appreciated.
