GMIT have won the Connacht Senior Hurling League final after beating Roscommon by 0-19 to 1-12 in Ballyforan today.
The students made all the running and led by 0-10 to 0-4 at the change of ends.
Meanwhile, in Tubbercurry, Sligo came from behind to score a narrow 2-12 to 0-17 victory over Leitrim in a rescheduled fixture.
The Yeats County trailed by 1-1 to 0-11 at the break but the second-half belonged to them as they outscored the visitors by 1-11 to 0-6.
