Congratulations to our Minor boys who were crowned County A2 Champions on Saturday last in Markievicz Park. Our team lead by 3-8 to 2-6 at half time, scoring a further 1-5 in the second half, the game finished on a scoreline of 4-13 to 2-13. The victorious team was lead by goalie, David O'Hara and he accepted the cup on the teams behalf after the game. Congratulations to all players, parents and management of Richard Kennedy, Stephen Henry and Enda Kelly. This is a great achievement for the club with a team back boned with a number of the county U-16 champions.

Our U-12 Girls are also Pride of the Parish this week. The team overcame St. Farnan's on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-4 to be crowned County A Champions for the second year in a row.

Our U-14 boys team overcame St. Farnan's in the semi final of the A2 Championship on Sunday on a score of 5-7 to 2-7. The team will now face Coolera/Strandhill in the final of the competition.

Our Senior Men have qualified for the final of the Divison 1 League. The team will play St. Mary's on a date to be confirmed.

Hard luck to our Junior B men's team who lost to Eastern Harps on a score of 3-9 to 1-9 in the second of their group stage games.

Congratulations to former Senior player, Tracy O'Hara and Wolfe Tones, Liverpool, on being crowned All Britain Champions 2014. The team will now compete in the All Ireland Series.
