This weekend's sees the Sligo senior football championship continue with a place in the semi final on offer.

Coolera-Strandhill take on St John's in a quarterfinal clash at Markievicz Park on Saturday evening. Throw in at 6pm.

St John's scrapped through their group to reach this stage and they will face a tough test against a Coolera-Strandhill side that finished second in their group.

Coolera are favourites to progress to the last four, but St John's did defeat Curry in the group stages and proved that they are capable of producing some decent displays.
